It’s homogeneous, soda glass abrasive that is stable physicochemically. It does not cut processing surfaces more than necessary nor contamintate them, so it enables high-precision surface processing, and creates characteristic matte surfaces. Also it’s used for shot peening which prevents metal from fatigue breakdown or stress corrosion cracking, over a wide range. The processed surface is resemblant to that of a golf ball, showing gentle concavities and convexities. The more the particle diameter is big, the more the surface becomes glossy. Use application : Cleaning, post weld cleaning, before and after plating, adjusting sliding surfaces, deburring for powder metallurgy parts or aluminum die-cast products, cleaning molds for rubber / plastic / glass, deburring for gears, improving the resistance to fatigue, removing carbon deposition, pearskin finish for decorative purposes (digital cameras, notebook computers, etc.), deburring for injection needles, various surface finishing.
